Waymo, a company that operates robotaxis (which are cars that drive themselves), has paused their services in some areas of Los Angeles. This happened after some of their cars were damaged during protests against a group called ICE, which is involved in immigration enforcement.

During the protests, five of Waymo’s cars, which are electric Jaguars, were called to an area where people were expressing their anger against ICE for detaining individuals.
