Paul Walker’s Cool Evo and Other Famous Movie Cars Are Going Up for Auction!

Bonhams, a major auction house, is hosting an exciting online auction featuring 50 original vehicles from movies and TV shows, along with 19 pieces of related memorabilia. This auction will take place later this month and has no reserve, meaning that all items will be sold to the highest bidder, no matter how low the initial bids are. The collection is sourced from the Movie Cars Central Museum, located near Paris and run by Franck Galiègue, ensuring that these pieces are authentic and historically significant.

These vehicles span many decades of cinema, including fan-favorites like Fast & Furious, Jurassic Park, Men in Black, Back to the Future, and The Dukes of Hazzard. There are also faithful recreations of classic cars from shows like The A-Team, Herbie, and James Bond films.

One of the highlights is the original Peugeot 406 V6 from Taxi 2 (1999). This car is an iconic part of French cinema and is expected to sell for between €70,000 to €120,000, or about $75,000 to $130,000. According to Bonhams expert Loïc Maschi, the auction is perfect for collectors and fans of pop culture, as many vehicles tell important stories about both automotive and film history.

Franck Galiègue mentioned that after years of curating this exceptional collection, he is now ready to pass these unique vehicles to new owners. Some standout cars that collectors will be eager to bid on include:

  • The 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII from 2 Fast 2 Furious (estimated value $290,000 to $578,000).
  • The 1970 Dodge Charger ‘Off-Road’ from Fast & Furious 7 (estimated value $174,000 to $289,000).
  • The 1968 Dodge Charger ‘General Lee’ from The Dukes of Hazzard (estimated value $139,000 to $185,000).
  • The 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 from John Wick (estimated value $98,000 to $162,000).

Other notable vehicles include the Gene Winfield Police Cruiser from Back to the Future Part II, the Cagiva 600 Canyon motorcycle from Jurassic Park: The Lost World, and the 1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria from Men in Black. There will also be recreations of famous movie cars, such as the BMW Z3 from the James Bond series and the Volkswagen Beetle ‘Herbie’.

In addition to the cars, some fun memorabilia items are up for grabs, like a life-size T. rex from Jurassic Park and the ‘Pitbull’ hoverboard from Back to the Future II.

The collection will be on public display by appointment from November 21 to 28, 2025, before the auction concludes.
